Peter - Owner

Peter’s family has owned Caboose Farm since 1971, when it was just 67 acres of scenic land in the Catoctin Mountains. Since taking over in 2012, Peter has led the farm’s transformation into the unique retreat and event venue it is today. With a passion for hospitality, design, and thoughtful guest experiences, he has expanded the property to over 200 acres and overseen countless renovations—balancing modern comforts with the farm’s rustic charm. From adding the signature event barn and movie theater to restoring each house with care, Peter’s vision continues to shape every corner of Caboose Farm. Whether it’s a wedding weekend, corporate retreat, or a quiet escape, Peter’s goal is to create a space where people can connect, celebrate, and feel at home.
